Annual Meeting
Holsworthy Town Council held its first face to face meeting in a many months last night 19.05.2021
The Annual Meeting of 2021, was whereby the Mayor of Holsworthy and Deputy Mayor were elected.
Cllr. Helen Parker was proposed and second, all Cllrs unanimously agreed, the continuation of her role as Mayor of Holsworthy for 2021/2022.
Cllr. Keith Musker, was elected as Deputy Mayor for Holsworthy. This position again was agreed by all Council members for 2021/2022.
Mayor Cllr. Parker presented to Barry Parsons, who was the Devon County Councillor, a few leaving gifts that Holsworthy Town Council, Bradworthy Parish Council,
Buckland Brewer Parish Council, Halwill Parish Council, Shebbear Parish Council and Sheepwash Parish Council had all contributed to.
Also presented to Barry Parsons was a Trophy from Holsworthy Cadets Lt Jim Harvey. C Company – Devon ACF
“Holsworthy Detachment Perpetual Community Cadet Trophy
For above standard contribution to local events and good causes through ACF, DoE and other voluntary service Sponsored by Councillor Barry Parsons, County Councillor,
Devon County Council March 2021”
This will be presented yearly to a cadet for the following:
Cadet will have attended local events where participation is organised by ACF detachment, company or county or through DoE or personal voluntary service with proof.
Detachment adult team will consider overall contribution and consider ongoing factors such as COVID effect on local events as well as the cadet’s personal situation where
additional issues have been overcome in order to succeed.

Kayla Kirby was also presented with Gloves as Holsworthy Mayor Cadet for 2021
