Holsworthy’s Outdoor Market

Holsworthy Town Council will be holding a public meeting on Thursday 23rd March 2023 at 6pm in the Memorial Hall, Holsworthy, to discuss the future of our historic Wednesday Market!

This will be an open and transparent discussion about the market’s past, present & future.

Holsworthy Town Council have been running the Market on behalf of Torridge District Council for 20+ years and have endeavoured to keep it relevant and stable.

Past efforts have included delivering leaflets to holiday homes, shops within Holsworthy and the surrounding areas. We have visited other local markets similar to our own to raise awareness of our historic market and to encourage new traders. We continue to use social media platforms, local media and yearly newsletters to advertise.

We would like to invite the people of Holsworthy to attend our meeting and help us find a solution to moving the market forward.

Everyone is welcome and we encourage all to attend to make your voice heard!

If you are unable to attend, please put your thoughts in writing to Holsworthy Town Council
