•	Photography for Wellbeing, Thursday 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th – 11am-1pm. Free to attend but limited places – please book with library staff.
•	Fun Creative Writing Sessions for Children (7-14 years old), Saturday 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th – 10:30-11:30. £2 per session, for more information and to book please see library staff .
•	Winter Wellness with Diana Lee, Saturday 8th – 2pm. Please book via Eventbrite or with library staff.
•	Lloyds Bank Community Banking, Monday 10th & 24th – 2pm-4pm. Free drop in sessions.
•	Come along and speak to the Healthwatch Devon Champions for support and Guidance on local health and social care and to share your experiences with them, Monday 17th – 2pm-4pm
•	Lets Create: Block Print Bunting! Saturday 22nd – 2pm-4pm . Family friendly workshop suitable for ages 5+ . Free to attend but donations welcome. Limited places, please book with library staff.
•	Gardening Cuppa & Chat, Wednesday 26th – 2pm-3pm. Everyone welcome.
•	Self Service Baby Weigh. Every Thursday 1pm-4pm
•	Lego and games for children. Every Saturday – 10am-12pm 
Holsworthy Library
There are lots of exciting things happening at your local library. In addition to a great range of books you can use your library membership to access free eBooks and audiobooks via the Borrowbox app. We also have free public computers and Wi-Fi as well as printing, copying and scanning facilities. It is free to join the library, and we are a friendly, welcoming space open to all. Free hot drinks are available, and people are encouraged to use the library as a place to relax, work and socialise as well as to find their next great read!
For children, the library offers weekly Bounce and Rhyme sessions, a Saturday Club, craft activities and stories during the holidays as well as the popular Secret Book Quest and Libro’s Friends reading schemes.
We regularly host a Lloyds Community Banker, evening talks and other events so keep an eye out for posters or on our social media and website.

Remembrance Parade – Sunday 9th November 2025
Holsworthy Remembrance Parade to take place on Sunday 9th November 2025
To participate in the parade assemble in the Square, Holsworthy at 14:30 for a 14:45 start.
The Parade will commence at 14:45 and continue from the Square, right along Bodmin Street to the Methodist Chapel.
After arriving at the Methodist Chapel the Remembrance service will commence at 15:00.
The parade will continue to the War Memorial outside St Peter & St Paul’s church where the wreath laying will commence.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
