Assistant to the Town Clerk
For Holsworthy Town Council
35 hours per week
£19,312 to £20,903 Pro Rata, depending on qualifications and experience.
The applicant will be required to deal with day-to-day administration, arranging and attending meetings (including some evenings), taking minutes, dealing with members of the Council and Public. The applicant will also be responsible for updating the Website and Social Media pages, producing the bi yearly newsletter, and arranging any functions that may take place.
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook/Internet is essential with working knowledge of Publisher and Sage Payroll desirable. Good interpersonal skills, an ability to work without supervision and to use own initiative is also required.
The position would suit someone who wishes to progress in Local Government.
