Devon Family Hub Drop In Advice Session, Thursday 6th – 2pm-4pm. FREE Family Advice & Guidance to anyone with a child aged 0-19 (up to 25 with SEND). Call 0800 5385458 Mon-Fri 10am-4pm for advice & guidance if you can’t make the sessions.
Sew Together, Monday 10th & 24th – 3:30pm-4:30pm. Bring your own hand sewing project (or knitting etc). An informal and supportive group rather than a class or lesson!
Gardening Cuppa and Chat, Wednesday 19th – 2pm-3pm. A monthly meeting to talk all things gardening. Everyone welcome.
Make your own road! Wednesday 5th – 11am-4pm. Paper craft with toy cars and horses! Free, drop in activity.
Lego Challenge, Thursday 6th & 20th – 11am-4pm. Come along and get creative with Lego. Free, drop in activity.
Paper Plate Hot Air Balloons, Wednesday 12th -11am-4pm. Free, drop in activity. All ages welcome.
Board Games and Biscuits, Thursday 13th & 27th – 11am-4pm. Free, drop in activity. All ages welcome.
Tractor & Horse Colouring, Wednesday 19th 11am-4pm. Free, drop in activity.
Junk Modelling, Wednesday 26th 11am-4pm. Free, drop in activity.
Lloyds Bank Community Banking, every other Monday 2-4. By appointment only – call 02077143681 to book direct with Lloyds.
Self Service Baby Weigh. Every Thursday – 1pm-4pm.
Lego and games for children. Every Saturday – 10am-12pm
Summer Book Quest – free reading challenge for children running all month. Pop in to sign up and get your Summer Book Quest leaflet and other goodies.
Holsworthy Library
There are lots of exciting things happening at your local library. In addition to a great range of books you can use your library membership to access free eBooks and audiobooks via the Borrowbox app. We also have free public computers and Wi-Fi as well as printing, copying and scanning facilities. It is free to join the library, and we are a friendly, welcoming space open to all. Free hot drinks are available, and people are encouraged to use the library as a place to relax, work and socialise as well as to find their next great read!
For children, the library offers weekly Bounce and Rhyme sessions, a Saturday Club, craft activities and stories during the holidays as well as the popular Secret Book Quest and Libro’s Friends reading schemes.
We regularly host a Lloyds Community Banker, evening talks and other events so keep an eye out for posters or on our social media and website.
